Her passing was announced in a social media post by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Our beloved Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts.”
Details of the Diagnosis
In a published essay this past fall, she disclosed that she had been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia with a rare mutation.
Acute myeloid leukemia is a malignancy that targets the blood and bone marrow.
